Heading into Survivor Series: WarGames, the relationship between Roman Reigns and CM Punk was not the best. However, after the OG Bloodline beat Solo Sikoa's team at the premium live event, Reigns, and Punk shook hands, leading many to believe the bad blood between them was over.
However, there is a chance that this handshake between Reigns and Punk could mean nothing, and the duo could instead meet in the ring, which would be the OTC's first singles bout since WrestleMania 40. The reason why something along these lines could take place in the coming weeks is Paul Heyman.
After the big win at Survivor Series: WarGames, CM Punk could reveal he only helped Roman Reigns because the former wanted to unite with Heyman. However, since the 59-year-old is the OTC's Wiseman, and surely won't let him go easily.
This entire scenario could then turn into a rivalry between Reigns and The Second City Saint. While the angle is speculative, a potential feud between the OTC and The Best In The World would do great business. It would also serve as a great addition to the already fantastic storyline surrounding The Bloodline.
WWE personality recently spoke about why Roman Reigns might not have attended the Survivor Series press conference
If anything, Survivor Series was a massive success for the OG Bloodline led by Roman Reigns. After all, Reigns and his men could avenge the defeat he suffered at Crown Jewel. However, when it came to celebrating this occasion at the press conference after Survivor Series, the OTC was nowhere to be seen.
Apart from Roman Reigns, all the men who were a part of the winning team at WarGames attended the press conference. On the Survivor Series: WarGames Post Show, WWE commentator Wade Barrett spoke about why Reigns might not have attended the press conference.
"I found it quite interesting that Roman Reigns was not there with the quartet of winners. Why was he not there? I don't know if there was something mentioned in the press conference. I suspect he's currently torturing a certain Wiseman to find out what this guarantee is, this favor that he's promised to CM Punk. How is that gonna play out in time? The tight lips of Paul Heyman may have to give away at some point because Roman Reigns is not a man you should be hiding information from, to say the least," he said. [36:07 - 36:40]

Whatever the reason may be, it will be interesting to see how The Bloodline story continues on Friday Night SmackDown. Apart from the situation surrounding Paul Heyman and CM Punk, Reigns will also have to keep an eye out for a potential attack by the new Bloodline in the coming weeks.
