Roman Reigns to face 3-time WWE champion at WrestleMania 41? It's not The Rock or Cody Rhodes!

Roman Reigns had three matches ever since he returned to WWE at SummerSlam 2024, and all of them involved The Bloodline. However, the only match that involved Cody Rhodes was at Bad Blood where the tag team of Rhodes and Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The Rock also made his presence felt during the concluding moments of the PLE.

With WWE RAW moving to Netflix next year, The OTC has been advertised for the debut episode. If he is moved to the red show permanently, it raises the question about his incomplete story with Cody Rhodes and The Rock. Interestingly, the Stamford-based promotion might be building towards The Final Boss vs. The American Rhodes for WrestleMania 41, leaving the former Undisputed WWE Champion without a challenger. That is where Drew McIntyre could step in.

The Scottish Psychopath recently returned on WWE RAW and attacked Sami Zayn. He is also being named as the one who attacked Jey Uso backstage. If Roman Reigns moves to WWE RAW, Triple H can build a rivalry between The OTC and the former World Heavyweight Champion for WrestleMania 41. The foundation of this feud could see Roman Reigns taking a stand for all The OG Bloodline members McIntyre attacks.

Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?

Furthermore, McIntyre is now working as a heel while Reigns is a babyface, which is the opposite of what the situation was the last time the two superstars had a feud.

WWE Hall of Famer showers praise on Roman Reigns

Ever since Payback 2020, Roman Reigns has been the biggest superstar in WWE. Even with his limited appearances and title defenses, The OTC was the most sought-after name. Currently, he might not have the Ula Fala or the Undisputed WWE Championship, but he is probably still the most influential superstar in the company.

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle praised The OTC for his work with The Bloodline storyline and for providing an extremely exciting angle for the past years.

"Roman, got to with Roman. ['Why not Solo?' asked the interviewer.] Because I'm a big fan of Roman. I'll tell you this, that kid has turned the wrestling world upside down. This whole angle with The Bloodline and him being a champion for so many years, it was great for the business and great for him."

WWE is yet to announce what Roman Reigns will be doing on RAW's Netflix debut show.
