Roman Reigns' first match since WrestleMania XL came at Bad Blood 2024 against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match with Cody Rhodes being his partner. The Original Tribal Chief secured the victory with some assistance from the returning Jimmy Uso. The reunion between the former Bloodline members was a sight to behold at the premium live event.

The next WWE PLE is Crown Jewel 2024. The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion has been a part of Crown Jewel for the past few years and defended his championship successfully at the event. However, this time, he is neither the champion nor the challenger. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the new Crown Jewel Championship.

Given Roman Reigns' slot is open, the Stamford-based promotion can finally book him against Solo Sikoa in a singles match which will set the momentum for a potential Bloodline Civil War at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. The battle between The Head of the Table and the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief will be historic since it will be the first time the former and the latter will be competing in a singles match.

Jimmy Uso's return marks the beginning of Reigns' tribe of babyfaces. Putting Roman in the ring with Sikoa means The Bloodline will interfere. While Jimmy can take down Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa as he did at Bad Blood 2024, having Jacob Fatu in the mix is a dangerous affair.

However, if WWE books the match for Crown Jewel 2024, another superstar may arrive to help Jimmy Uso keep The Bloodline members at bay. It can be Sami Zayn given that his feud with Gunther is over and the latter will focus on his match against Rhodes at Crown Jewel.

Bill Apter name-drops 32-year-old WWE star as Roman Reigns' exciting opponent

Roman Reigns has defeated all the top men on the main roster during his time as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Now that he is back, only a few names remain for him to take down. One such name is Jacob Fatu.

The Samoan Werewolf destroys anything that comes in his path and he is not afraid of Roman Reigns. Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter believes that Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu is a compelling match and one that fans will be excited to see:

"Wow, I think that's [Roman vs. Jacob] a very compelling match . The fans went crazy over Roman [Reigns]. They want to see him destroy the other side of The Bloodline. I'm hoping it's going to happen, perhaps as early as Survivor Series. I think they're going to be against each other with teams at Survivor Series and perhaps in January in the Royal Rumble, we'll see them against each other. But Jacob Fatu is so wonderfully insane. That's one of the few matches that I look at and say 'I want to see that match, I can't wait to see what they do with that.'"

The upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown might give fans further clarity about what is next for Roman Reigns and how he will be booked for Crown Jewel 2024.
