This week's WWE SmackDown will broadcast live from Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and will once again revolve around Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. Fans should expect the company to continue its build towards Survivor Series.
WWE has announced a stacked lineup for Friday's show, which features two title encounters. Furthermore, Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens are also advertised for SmackDown this week.
On that note, here are four predictions for Friday's show.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#4. Triple H could suspend Kevin Owens on WWE SmackDown
Kevin Owens injured Randy Orton on last week's episode of SmackDown. The Prizefighter delivered a brutal Piledriver, which led to The Viper being stretchered out of the arena.
Given that KO used a banned move on Orton, this week's SmackDown could see the former suffer the consequences. Triple H, the company's CCO, could take matters into his own hands and suspend The Prizefighter on Friday night.
#3. Montez Ford could quit the promotion
Montez Ford recently spoke at length about his frustrations with the company. The talented superstar currently seems lost among the crowd on the blue brand. Meanwhile, his current contract with WWE is rumored to be ending soon.
However, given his recent frustrations, Montez Ford could take the extreme step of quitting the promotion even before his contract comes to an end. The Street Profits member could ask for his release following another loss at the hands of the Motor City Machine Guns on this week's SmackDown.
The underrated star could then potentially go on to join AEW in the coming weeks.
#2. The Bloodline could attack Team Roman Reigns
Sami Zayn reunited with Roman Reigns on the previous episode of WWE SmackDown. While it seemed as if The Honorary Uce was going to join forces with Solo Sikoa, that didn't happen as Zayn helped The OTC and The Usos stand tall over The Bloodline.
Given last week's humiliation at the hands of the babyfaces, The Bloodline could hit back at Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn this week. The heels could blindside the babyfaces, leading to a brutal beatdown. This potential angle could, however, lead to a massive reunion. More on this in the next point.
#1. Paul Heyman could return with CM Punk
The Bloodline's potential attack on Team Roman Reigns could lead to Paul Heyman making a return to make the save. The Wiseman has been on hiatus for the last few months; however, he may make a comeback this week to reunite with The OTC.
However, Heyman may not return alone. The wrestling veteran could be accompanied by his former client, CM Punk. The Second City Saint was involved in a heated confrontation with Solo's Bloodline a while back, and he could return alongside Heyman to take the final spot on Roman Reigns' team.
