WWE SummerSlam is rapidly approaching, and four world title matches have been confirmed for The Biggest Party of The Summer. Damian Priest will defend his World Heavyweight Title against Gunther, while Rhea Ripley will challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship.

Meanwhile, Queen Nia Jax will look to dethrone WWE Women's Champion Bayley in Cleveland, Ohio. Perhaps the biggest match of the show, however, is Cody Rhodes defending his Undisputed WWE Title against The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa.

Cody vs. Solo is particularly intriguing, as there is a lot of history between The American Nightmare and The Bloodline. This new version, however, may be more dangerous than ever, and the 39-year-old's title reign may be in jeopardy.

This article will look at a handful of possible signs that indicate that a title change is in the works. This includes a major return, the presentation of Sikoa, and beyond.

Below are four signs Solo Sikoa could dethrone Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2024:

#4. Solo Sikoa has been discussing winning the Undisputed WWE Title

The first and most obvious sign is what the creative team is screaming in fans' ears on television. Solo Sikoa has routinely asserted that he wants to dethrone the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion.

While it is natural for performers to say that during a championship feud, Triple H and company officials are hammering home the point that the new Tribal Chief wants to be the Undisputed WWE Champion.

The point has also been used to drive a wedge between Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns. The fact that Solo winning the title and doing what Reigns couldn't at WrestleMania XL is being used as a constant talking point is a sign of Sikoa's inevitable victory.

#3. Cody Rhodes' reign is somewhat lacking

Cody Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania XL in April 2024. The American Nightmare defeated Roman Reigns in the main event of Night Two to "finish his story!"

Since then, the 39-year-old has successfully retained his title against Logan Paul and AJ Styles. While his reign has been far from bad, as each match has delivered in spades, it is safe to say Cody isn't having an all-time classic reign.

The reality is that Cody Rhodes may be better as a challenger chasing the Undisputed WWE Title as opposed to a champion. Based on his current title run, it seems likely that Solo will dethrone Rhodes and the story will progress, as opposed to the former Legacy member retaining and moving on when there isn't much left for him.

#2. Sikoa and The New Bloodline have been heavily pushed in recent times

The Bloodline has gone through many phases since officially starting in 2020. Arguably the most popular version of the stable saw Roman Reigns as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, and he was joined by The Usos, Sami Zayn, Paul Heyman, and Solo Sikoa.

However, the new version of The Bloodline is still fearsome despite featuring almost completely different names. Solo went from The Enforcer to The Tribal Chief and is joined by Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.

All four men have been made to look like threats, with Solo and Fatu, in particular, striking fear into everyone. With The Bloodline 2.0 being made to look so dominant, a title change may be inevitable. Additionally, The Samoan Werewolf is being made to look so strong that he may guarantee a Solo victory.

#1. Roman Reigns is returning to television sooner rather than later

As noted, Roman Reigns lost his prized title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. In doing so, he also seemingly lost his status as The Tribal Chief of The Bloodline. Roman went home following his defeat and hasn't been seen since.

Solo took over the heel faction in Roman's absence, as he booted out Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman and added Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. In the past few weeks, Solo has asserted that if Roman wanted to get the Undisputed WWE Title back, he would have to take it from his former Enforcer.

Hence, it looks likely that Solo Sikoa will win the title at SummerSlam and then engage with a returning Roman Reigns in a red-hot feud for The Head of The Table spot and the Undisputed WWE Championship.
