This year's Survivor Series WarGames could potentially witness a Bloodline Civil War, with Roman Reigns' Bloodline colliding against Solo Sikoa's. The Original Tribal Chief made a dramatic return at SummerSlam, taking down Solo with a Superman Punch and Spear. For this Bloodline Civil War, Roman will need allies, and recently, the longest-reigning Tag Team Champion, Jey Uso, has hinted at his return to the family drama and a probable alignment with Reigns.
This hint was dropped by the YEET Master in a recent story on his official Instagram account, where he promoted WWE's latest playlist titled "Beginning of the Original Bloodline." This action has led fans to believe that Jey is teasing an imminent reunion with Roman Reigns in the Stamford-based promotion.
Jey poses a significant threat to Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline not only because of his accolades as a record-breaking tag team champion but also because he was able to pin Roman Reigns. The 38-year-old star accomplished this feat during the first Bloodline Civil War at last year’s Money in the Bank Premium Live Event.
If Jey could pin Roman Reigns during the latter's dominant Universal title reign, then Solo’s faction may not deter him from realigning with his cousin. It remains to be seen how things will unfold in the upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown, as The OTC is set to make his first appearance on the blue brand since his return.
Roman Reigns could have an unexpected non-Bloodline ally on his side
The reunion of Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns seems like a predictable scenario waiting to unfold. Additionally, with Sami Zayn recently losing his Intercontinental Championship, many fans believe he could return to his role as the Honorary Uce in the Bloodline Saga. However, Cody Rhodes is also an unexpected name who could potentially aid the Original Tribal Chief in his battle against Solo Sikoa.
The American Nightmare is still holding the Undisputed title on his shoulders, thanks in part to significant assistance from Reigns at SummerSlam. Now that Roman has transitioned into a babyface, a temporary alliance with Cody Rhodes is a prospect that could very well unfold.
The Undisputed Champion might even come to Roman's aid in the upcoming episode of SmackDown if Reigns finds himself outnumbered upon his return. Cody also showed respect to Roman during the post-SummerSlam press conference, where he acknowledged that Reigns is entitled to an Undisputed title rematch.
Given all this, the idea of Cody and Roman aligning on the Blue brand seems like a plausible scenario, at least until the reunion of the OG Bloodline.
