WWE RAW and SmackDown could be very eventful this week and could feature some big surprises. The Stamford-based company will be taping the post-Crown Jewel 2024 edition of the red brand tonight.
Apart from all the fallout from Crown Jewel 2024, the weekly shows could also see the creative team lay down the breadcrumbs of some fresh feuds and angles for the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event.
On that note, below are four bold predictions for WWE RAW and SmackDown after Crown Jewel 2024.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#4. Carlito could inadvertently cost Dominik Mysterio a potential win on WWE RAW
Dominik Mysterio will compete against Sheamus, Seth Rollins, and Damian Priest in a Fatal Four-Way Match to determine the number-one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship on RAW. However, the 27-year-old star could suffer a loss in the bout due to interference from Carlito.
Dirty Dom is rumored to leave The Judgment Day shortly, and the company could lay down the breadcrumbs for the same on WWE RAW this week. Carlito could inadvertently cost Dominik a potential win, leading to his ejection from the heel stable.
#3. Kevin Owens could threaten to quit WWE
Kevin Owens' encounter with Randy Orton at Crown Jewel 2024 never got underway as The Prizefighter attacked The Viper before the match could even start. This led to a massive brawl between the duo.
Things soon turned ugly as KO attacked the referee, who was trying to stop them, while Orton laid out RAW General Manager Adam Pearce with a vicious RKO out of nowhere. Given how things unfolded, the Stamford-based company's Chief Content Officer, Triple H, could take matters into his own hands.
The Game could suspend both high-profile names indefinitely. However, this may not sit well with Owens, who could threaten The King of Kings about jumping ship to AEW.
#2. Bronson Reed could be confronted by Braun Strowman
Bronson Reed locked horns with Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel 2024. However, the Australian star failed to prevail over The Visionary in the match. With that, his high-octane feud with Rollins seemingly came to an end.
Now, the company could restart Reed's feud with Braun Strowman. The 36-year-old star could be confronted by The Monster Among Men on WWE RAW. Braun has been on a hiatus due to an injury for more than a month now. However, he is rumored to return on Monday night.
Given that he has some unfinished business with Bronson, Braun Strowman could return to confront Reed on Monday Night RAW.
#1. Roman Reigns could replace Jey Uso with Hikuleo
Roman Reigns and The Usos locked horns with Solo Sikoa's Bloodline at Crown Jewel 2024. However, the babyfaces faced a tough loss in the match.
The lack of cohesion between The Original Tribal Chief and Jey Uso proved to be one of the major reasons for their loss. Given how things unfolded, Reigns could take the big step of replacing The Yeet Master with Hikuleo.
The 6 foot 8 inches giant, who has previously performed in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) reportedly signed with the Stamford-based company a while ago. Roman could have Hikuleo debut as Jey's replacement on WWE SmackDown this week.
