When Sami Zayn defeated Gunther to win the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania XL, he started a new era in WWE. After all, the Canadian star ended The Ring General's historic 666-day reign as the Intercontinental Champion. However, the era that Zayn began came to an end at SummerSlam 2024.
At The Biggest Party of The Summer, Bron Breakker was able to defeat Sami Zayn. While the latter had defended his title against Breakker at Money in the Bank 2024, the outing at SummerSlam did not end in Zayn's favor and his reign as champion came to an end in Cleveland, Ohio.
In this article, we will look at three directions for Sami Zayn after his loss at SummerSlam 2024.
A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE
#3. Sami Zayn can ask for a rematch at WWE Bad Blood
Since Bron Breakker stepped up to challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship, the relationship between the two has not been the best. On several occasions, Breakker went out of control and Zayn was able to overcome his challenge at Money in the Bank 2024.
However, this end proved to be temporary since Breakker just beat him and won the title. However, given the scenario, it is clear the two men do not like each other and the best way they could settle their rivalry is by having a match at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event.
#2. Sami can go after the World Tag Team Championship with Jey Uso
While Sami Zayn's relationship with Jey Uso was not at its best during their time in The Bloodline, things between them have drastically improved since The Yeet Master turned face. While Jey is struggling to win a singles title, Zayn has lost the Intercontinental Championship he once had.
This could be the perfect sign for them to get together and go after the World Tag Team Championship. Both superstars have proved themselves time after time in tag team matches and it will be interesting to see them in action given the energy they bring.
#1. Join Roman Reigns' Bloodline
Whether Sami Zayn gets together with Jey Uso or not, the one thing he could do next is join Roman Reigns' Bloodline. At SummerSlam 2024, The Original Tribal Chief made his return and delivered a Superman Punch to Solo Sikoa. This move helped Cody Rhodes capitalize and win the match to retain his Undisputed WWE Championship.
While Reigns did not do anything apart from this, it is clear that he has returned to claim his throne. However, if he has to fight Sikoa, then Roman will need to have more members on his side. This is where someone like Sami Zayn could come in handy given he was the Honorary Uce of The Bloodline previously.
