Roman Reigns returned on the season premiere of WWE SmackDown this week. The Original Tribal Chief made a comeback following Cody Rhodes' Steel Cage Match against Solo Sikoa to help The American Nightmare even the odds against The Bloodline.
There's no denying that things have heated up in The Bloodline saga following Roman Reigns' return on Friday night. Fans are eager to know what happens next in the storyline.
To feed into the curiosities, here are four bold predictions for The Bloodline program following WWE SmackDown:
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
#4. Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman could return to join Roman Reigns
Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman have been off WWE TV ever since they were kicked out of The Bloodline. However, with Reigns finally back on the blue brand, it may not be too long before we see the duo return to join forces with the Original Tribal Chief.
Jimmy could be The Big Dog's new Right Hand Man, while Paul Heyman could resume his role as Roman's Wiseman. With Cody Rhodes seemingly already on his side, Big Uce and Heyman's return would further strengthen Reigns' position against Solo's Bloodline.
#3. The Bloodline may lose the WWE Tag Team Championship to #DIY
As fans must be aware, The Bloodline defeated #DIY to win the WWE Tag Team Championship last month. However, in a recent SmackDown exclusive, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano vowed to take the coveted title back from the heel faction.
Given that, #DIY could challenge The Bloodline for the title in the coming days. If a potential title match does end up happening, it could see Gargano and Ciampa defeat The Bloodline for their championship due to interference from Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
The American Nightmare and The Original Tribal Chief could cost The Bloodline in a big way by helping #DIY regain the tag team title.
#2. Jey Uso could join Solo Sikoa
While Jimmy is widely expected to join Roman Reigns, given how he was kicked out of The Bloodline by Solo Sikoa, Jey Uso may not. The former tag team champion is currently involved in a feud with Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship on WWE RAW.
However, he is not expected to defeat Bron for the title, and could soon jump ship to SmackDown to be a part of The Bloodline saga. The creative team could, however, swerve fans by having Jey join Solo's Bloodline.
Given his issues with both Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso in the past, which even led to him quitting the faction and SmackDown last year, Jey could choose his brother Solo Sikoa over The Original Tribal Chief.
#1. Seth Rollins could be Roman Reigns' 'Shield' at WWE Bad Blood 2024
Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will team up to take on The Bloodline at Bad Blood 2024. However, the heel faction could look to weaken The Original Tribal Chief by injuring his partner, The American Nightmare, leading up to the event.
If so, Roman Reigns' former Shield partner, Seth Rollins could return to replace Rhodes in the tag team match. While a potential Shield reunion seems unlikely, given Dean Ambrose is currently under contract with AEW, a partial reunion could certainly happen at Bad Blood.
Rollins, who has been out following the brutal attack on him by Bronson Reed, could return to be Reigns' 'Shield', much like he was for Cody during his feud with The Bloodline earlier this year.
