Roman Reigns is one of the absent superstars on everyone's mind right now. He was last seen at WrestleMania 40, and a lot has happened since then. That being said, Reigns is rumored to be returning at SummerSlam 2024 to confront his cousin, Solo Sikoa. But, now that the title of Tribal Chief has been taken away from him, will he return with a new nickname?

The answer to that question is "maybe." According to a report from WrestleVotes, WWE is indeed discussing the idea of handing Roman Reigns a new nickname. Over the years, Reigns has had many nicknames. The Big Dog, The Guy, the Head of the Table, and most recently, The Tribal Chief, are but a few. Well, according to the report, WWE is considering giving him the nickname 'The Original Tribal Chief.'

The situation is ironic because the nickname being used is not original. However, if the report is accurate, it is likely that this nickname will only be temporary. There can only truly be one Tribal Chief, and once Roman Reigns defeats his cousin Solo Sikoa, he will reclaim that title.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Then again, at this point, this is nothing more than speculation. There is no confirmation that this is the direction WWE is going. Guess the fans will just have to wait and see what nickname Reigns uses when he does eventually return.

Roman Reigns is expected to challenge the new Bloodline with members of the old guard

Since Roman Reigns took his leave of absence, Solo Sikoa has made several changes to The Bloodline. He started by kicking out his brother, Jimmy Uso. He then proceeded with recruitment, bringing Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to his side. Finally, he got rid of Paul Heyman, completing his takeover and crowning himself the new Tribal Chief.

Now, if Reigns was there to witness this happen in person, there was no way he would have stood idly by. He would have leaped into action, and that is exactly what the WWE Universe expects him to do on his return. Rumors suggest that The Big Dog could challenge Solo's claim to the throne with the old guard of The Bloodline. In other words, The Usos and the Honorary Uce, Sami Zayn.

That would undoubtedly be a clash for the ages. But who will come out on top? Who will reign supreme as the one and only Tribal Chief? Only time will tell how this intriguing storyline unfolds.
