The SmackDown tag team division, like the RAW tag team division, has been rather stale, with the same match-ups and rivalries taking place over the last year or so. The tag team division has been overlooked with not many interesting storylines, and even the likes of The Revival rumoured to have asked for a release.
Shane and Miz's victory could be a great way to rebuild the division as there are quite a few rivalries that can happen on the blue brand.
With the likes of The Usos, New Day, and Bludgeon Brothers, any one of those tag teams could put on a great feud with The Miz and Shane McMahon. It's a fresh beginning for the division, one that could revitalise and give importance to the division that gave us some of the best matches.
