Goldberg's going to the Royal Rumble... Since making his return to WWE in 2016, Goldberg has only been involved in high-profile rivalries and mostly has fought for WWE/Universal Championship. While the WWE Hall of Famer has come out winning these belts on every single occasion he has stood up as a contender, that fact is probably going to be no longer valid when he faces the current reigning WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre, at Royal Rumble.
Goldberg has been rumored to be a major part of this year's WrestleMania. Because of this, many fans are being led to believe that the veteran is going to dethrone "The Scottish Man" for the gold and defend it against someone at WM.
However, that seems to be unlikely the case. Firstly, there is no report whatsoever the officials are unhappy with McIntyre's reign and want to take the title off "The Scottish Man". Instead, they are happy with the way things are going. Secondly, if you believe the odds, McIntyre is a huge favorite to retain his title against Goldberg at Royal Rumble and walk into WrestleMania 37 as the reigning WWE Champion.
