Could fans see a rivalry starting between Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik Mysterio

Rey Mysterio returned at the Royal Rumble a few years ago. His contract with WWE was about to run out last year. However, to see his son, Dominik Mysterio, succeed in front of his eyes, the veteran extended his contract with the sports-entertainment giant. Since then, the Mysterios have been tagging along. This Sunday, they are going to enter their first Royal Rumble as father-son.

Speaking on this week's WWE The Bump, Rey Mysterio revealed he's planning on winning the second Royal Rumble match of his career. Mr. 6-1-9 also mentioned that he'd be happy to see his son win his first Rumble too, but if it were going to come between him and his son at the event, he'd have to throw Dominik out.

“I would have to throw him out right away. Yes! I mean, we have to do it. There is just no other option. Either he goes or I go, but I’m sure that I get first dibs on that, so he’s going over the top.”

Is Rey trying to tease a betrayal between him and his son at Royal Rumble? Or is it just a publicity stunt? Either way, the odds of Rey eliminating Dominik are still high, as the luchador, in an interview, recently said if his son is on the verge of being thrown off the top rope, he'd save him only one time, no more than that. It's one vs all, no families.
