Several stars and personalities from WWE have announced their exit or have been released by the company after WrestleMania in Philly. According to a new report, Kayla Braxton decided not to sign a new deal with the promotion before her exit.
Earlier this month, Kayla Braxton announced on X (formerly Twitter) that she would be leaving the company by the end of the month. The broadcaster spent nearly eight years with the promotion and is slated for a final appearance on Friday Night SmackDown in Madison Square Garden.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), the 33-year-old star took the call to not renew her deal with the company. The former host of WWE's The Bump is slated to move away from professional wrestling and explore new ventures in her professional life.

She was also the host of SmackDown LowDown following the weekly episode of the blue brand. A new personality will replace Braxton as host by the beginning of July 2024.

In 2016, Kayla Becker, fka Kayla Braxton, signed with the Stamford-based promotion and started working under the developmental brand in Florida. After donning different on-screen roles, she became a backstage interviewer for WWE and the host of The Bump.
After years of hosting The Bump and working on RAW and SmackDown, she announced her departure from the company. She penned a heartfelt message and mentioned several notable names from the promotion.
Paul Heyman, Triple H, Nick Khan, and Michael Cole were mentioned as they mentored her in her current role as an on-air performer across different brands.
After her final appearance on Friday Night SmackDown at the MSG, she will host her final SmackDown LowDown before her exit at the end of this month.
