A WWE Superstar delivered a controversial line last night during a backstage segment with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. Last night's edition of the red brand aired live from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Adam Pearce had a meeting with Damage CTRL's IYO SKY and Kairi Sane during last night's episode of RAW. Carlito then entered the room as the two Japanese stars were leaving and said, "I gotta learn Chinese," before pleading with Pearce to give Dominik Mysterio a World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, the line from Carlito was unscripted, and a number of people in the company were not happy that it was said on television. It was also noted that there was no word of heat on anyone backstage at the moment. The line by The Judgment Day member has been edited from all digital clips following WWE RAW.

Former WWE writer questions The Judgment Day's booking on RAW
Wrestling legend Vince Russo took the company to task for how The Judgment Day was used following last night's edition of the red brand.
Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo discussed Rhea Ripley handling The Judgment Day's Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and Raquel Rodriguez on her own last night. The veteran wondered how the promotion ever planned on getting heat on the faction while booking them to be afraid of one person.
"You've got Liv, Raquel, and Dominik backing off of one person. I don't know how you're ever getting heat on heels that way, man," Vince Russo said. [From 33:52 to 34:03]
