WWE has reportedly been interested in working with a huge mainstream star for a while now. Cardi B was featured in the announcement video for next year's SummerSlam and it is possible that she could appear on the show.
It is no secret that the 31-year-old rapper was a wrestling fan growing up, and she has expressed interest in working with the global wrestling juggernaut in the past. Her song "Up" was used as the theme song for SummerSlam in 2021.
Cardi B and Bianca Belair were featured in the promotional video for The Biggest Party of The Summer, which will take place over two nights next year in New Jersey. According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE has been after the American rapper for several years now. The report adds that the Stamford-based company wanted to use one of Cardi B's songs for SummerSlam in 2021 and was hoping that she would make an appearance at the event.

However, Cardi B announced that she was pregnant and the plans were put on hold. Fightful was told that WWE wants to use more mainstream stars in its programming and announcements for premium live events.
Bianca Belair named Cardi B as one of the female artists she would love to work with in WWE
Over the years, countless musicians have appeared on WWE programming. Jelly Roll performed at SummerSlam last month, Bad Bunny has had several matches and Lil Wayne also performed at WrestleMania XL.
During an old interview, Bianca Belair mentioned that she would love to work with artists such as Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion:
"Cardi B, Nicki [Minaj], Meg [Thee Stallion], whoever wants to come out, I am a huge fan of them. They can come and get in the ring; we can tag team. They can come and perform, bring me out, let me come out to their music, my entrance music. Let’s collab. Let’s make something happen!"
It will be interesting to see whether Triple H finally convinces Cardi B to make an appearance at SummerSlam next year.
