A Judgment Day member received a lot of backlash on social media for a controversial comment he made on WWE RAW this week. Carlito reportedly went off-script and has some heat in the company.
During a backstage segment on the October 21 episode of the red brand, The Caribbean Cool walked into Adam Pearce's office as IYO SKY and Kairi Sane were leaving and said something in Japanese. He looked back at them and uttered, “I gotta learn Chinese." The clip has been shared on social media, and many fans complain about it on X.
According to WrestleVotes on a live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass, Carlito's controversial comment was not part of the script, which surprised many people in the company. The Judgment Day member has some heat backstage.
"That line was unscripted, that was from Carlito. There was some heat on Carlito for it. I know speaking to people I talked to it did take them by surprise. So we'll see what happens out of it. I don't know how big a deal they're gonna make it, but probably not a great look for Carlito," said WrestleVotes.
The Judgment Day member wanted to get Dominik Mysterio a shot at Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship. Adam Pearce laughed in Carlito's face when he suggested it.
