Becky Lynch reportedly set to return with new character; another WWE veteran expected to be back

Becky Lynch has been away from WWE for several months, but she's expected to be back in the company soon. She and Charlotte Flair are reportedly preparing for their return.

The Man's last appearance was on the May 27 episode of RAW, in which she lost to Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage Match due to Dominik Mysterio's interference. Her contract expired, and she became a free agent. Meanwhile, her longtime friend and rival Charlotte Flair has been sidelined with knee injuries for nearly a year.

According to PWN, Becky Lynch and The Queen are working on their characters, and Big Time Becks could drop her 'The Man' gimmick. The report mentions that the two stars are set to return very soon.

"Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are already working on what’s next for them creatively. Possible shift in The Man character for Becky as she has wanted to move on for some time from that character. Expect to see them both appear on TV soon."

After The Man and The Visionary became a couple in real life, WWE made it into a storyline, and it was heavily pushed on TV. However, it didn't turn out to be a major success.

Lynch reflected on the storyline while speaking at the Vulture Festival and said it was bad.

"Wrestling relationships can get messy. I’d never been in a relationship that hadn’t broken up, and neither had he. It’s one of those things, especially when you’re climbing to the top, and you don’t want anything to take the wheels off the car. We weren’t sure if we would come forward with it. Then if we came forward with it, then surely Vince would want us in a storyline. He did, and it was bad."

Becky is one of the biggest female wrestlers of all time. Many fans would be excited if she returned to WWE.
