There have been plenty of rumors and teases of Becky Lynch's potential return to WWE. Lynch is still officially a free agent, but there have been reports about her imminent comeback, possibly as early as January 6 on RAW's debut on Netflix. The latest one suggests a big feud for The Man heading into WrestleMania 41.

Lynch last appeared on WWE television during the May 27 episode of RAW, losing to Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage match for the Women's World Championship. Her contract expired on June 1, and she has been a free agent since then.

The Man has worked on multiple projects since then, as well as spending more time with her family. However, she was recently seen on Netflix's commercial for RAW during their NFL broadcast. She was also at the WWE-Netflix media event in early December alongside her husband Seth Rollins and other WWE Superstars.

According to Ibou of WrestlePurists on X, Becky Lynch's first feud back in WWE will be against Rhea Ripley. It's unclear when it's going to happen, but it's reportedly happening as soon as possible.

It should be noted that the report has not been confirmed. Becky Lynch is still officially a free agent, while Rhea Ripley is set to challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship on the Netflix debut of RAW this coming Monday.

With the rumors of Lynch's return, it will be interesting to see if it happens on RAW after the Ripley-Morgan match. WWE is treating the debut show as a big deal, scheduling WrestleMania-caliber headliners.

Becky Lynch is part of big WrestleMania 41 plans

While the report above reported about a potential Becky Lynch feud with Rhea Ripley, WrestleVotes confirmed that The Man will have a big matchup at WrestleMania 41. The seven-time women's champion is seemingly already part of the plans for The Road to WrestleMania, starting at the 2025 Royal Rumble.

Lynch remains a household name in the WWE Universe despite her time away from wrestling. She continued to build her brand even as a free agent, recently announcing her role in the upcoming Star Trek: Starfleet Academy TV series set to be released this year or in 2026 on Paramount Plus.
