There has been an update regarding CM Punk's return date to WWE. The Second City Saint has not appeared on WWE television since delivering an ominous message to fans on the RAW after Bad Blood.
Punk defeated Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match at the Premium Live Event on October 5 and told fans that he did not know when he would be returning on the following episode of RAW.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, Punk was never in the plans for Crown Jewel. It was also noted by Sean Ross Sapp that fans shouldn't expect Punk to return to WWE television until the November 11 edition of RAW at the earliest, unless the 46-year-old makes a surprise appearance on SmackDown.

Sam Roberts predicts CM Punk's next rivalry in WWE
Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts recently predicted that Seth Rollins and CM Punk would enter a rivalry when the veteran returned to action.
Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts suggested that Punk would enter a feud with Rollins after defeating Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood. Roberts added that he does not believe that Rollins would turn heel during the rivalry, leaving fans to decide which star they would want to root for.
"I think that the Seth Rollins-CM Punk rivalry is coming. And I think that all parties involved are aware. Punk's not getting booed. Do I think it's going to go as far as it did with Drew McIntyre? No, I don't think they can redo that. I don't think Seth Rollins is gonna be a full heel because I think if Seth Rollins became a full heel, it would feel too much like the Drew McIntyre-CM Punk rivalry. I think what you've got instead is Seth Rollins in an extremely bad mood and Punk in not such a bad mood. And you can choose to cheer Seth Rollins if you want or not, Seth doesn't care," he said.
