Drew McIntyre is not going anywhere after signing a new contract with WWE. A recent report has revealed some of the details of McIntyre's deal.
The Rock announced on Instagram that The Scottish Warriors was set to stay with WWE after months of uncertainty about his future. The Final Boss sent McIntyre a real Scottish claymore as a gift for inking a new deal with the company.
According to Fightful Select, WWE began discussing a new contract with McIntyre in March 2024 and it was finalized just before The Rock's announcement. As reported by several news outlets over the past year, his contract was set to expire in about a month.

It took some back-and-forth negotiations between the two sides, but the former World Heavyweight Champion is reportedly happy with his new contract. His family was an important part of the deal given that most of them still live in Scotland.
The report also revealed that McIntyre signed a big money deal that would run for multiple years. More superstars are expected to receive extensions, with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch among those whose contracts are about to expire.

In a post on Instagram, The Rock revealed that Drew McIntyre is staying with WWE after signing a new deal. The Final Boss sent McIntyre a meaningful present along with a personalized message sealed in an envelope.

As we talked about after your #WrestleMania match, I know this Scottish Claymore represents everything that you, your family, and your country embody. Alba gu bràth – As you know, I wanted to personally hand deliver this gift to you at your meeting with Nick Khan, but I had warm cheat meals and chilled tequila waiting for me. Congrats again brother and cheers to hunger, passion, climbing that mountain and always entertaining our fans," The Rock wrote.
Drew McIntyre is currently on his quest to become World Heavyweight Champion again while trying to deal with his long-time friend Sheamus. He is also still looking to get payback on CM Punk for costing him the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XL.
