Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns have not reunited on-screen in WWE for quite some time now. Ever since WrestleMania XL, the two have not been on the same screen in WWE, even if they have reunited outside for an interview. Now though, there's a big report on Heyman right before tonight's SmackDown.
A Fightful Select report has emerged about the same.
Tonight's show is set to emanate from Buffalo, New York, and just before the show started, there have been several reports about him being in Buffalo. Some videos have also apparently emerged, claiming Paul Heyman is arriving at the venue.

This has obviously led to some expectation that he will be at the show tonight and might finally reunite with Reigns on-screen in WWE. With a lot of excitement surrounding the show, an unfortunate report has emerged about the same.
As per the report, Paul Heyman being at WWE shows is not actually rare. Even if the star has been at the shows the previous weeks, he has not appeared on-screen. Thus, even if he is present at the show tonight, he may not actually appear on screen.
While the report itself is disappointing, with his regular presence indicating this may not be a special return, this does not mean that he won't. Given the change in the story recently, with Roman Reigns losing at Crown Jewel, it would be the perfect time for him to step back into the company. Being present backstage regularly before does not mean that he will stay away from the on-screen story tonight as well. It remains to be seen if that's what happens.
