WWE is set to undergo a major change with Monday Night RAW debuting on Netflix on January 6. However, a disappointing report has recently emerged, shedding light on what to expect from the show's broadcast on the streaming giant.

The Stamford-based company's television programming has often been criticized for showcasing too many ads during shows, involving cutting to commercials during matches. Wrestling fans are expecting fewer ads after the broadcast shifts to Netflix.

However, Sportskeeda Wrestling's Dr. Chris Featherstone recently shared a post on X (fka Twitter) stating he was informed that the programming on Netflix would have ads and organic breaks throughout the show, similar to the previous broadcast.

"I have been informed that #WWERaw will have Ads on Netflix, and the experience will be similar to the previous broadcast, with organic breaks throughout the storyline," he wrote.

Triple H reveals one major change WWE will make after the move to Netflix

Similar to the ads during shows, fans have often criticized television networks for censoring the programs by turning the feed black or cutting the audio in the middle of certain segments.

During a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Triple H opened up about the restrictions the company faces with its television partners. The Game used The Rock's SmackDown promo ahead of WrestleMania XL as an example. WWE's Head of Creative further stated that it would not happen once the programming shifts to Netflix.

"Netflix is a completely different animal. It's a streaming service. How are commercials going to work? How are breaks going to work? What's the length of time? What are the restrictions or not restrictions? Being on Fox, if the crowd chants 'holy sh*t' or something worse, they take the audio. Sometimes, they take the picture and the audio out, and it's a black screen. The Rock comes in, and you can't tell what The Rock to do. He does what he does. We won't have those issues with Netflix. The ability to be live globally and be seen live everywhere is a game-changing moment," he said.
