WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre is reportedly scheduled for a massive match in his homeland. He may get a world championship shot at the 2024 Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event.

As of now, The Scottish Warrior is out of in-ring action due to an injury. On Monday Night RAWs, McIntyre is involved in a feud with CM Punk because he cost him the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40.

After the 38-year-old dethroned Seth Rollins for the title, he decided to rub his win in The Straight Edge Superstar's face. However, Punk attacked him which led to Damian Priest cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase on the former 3MB member to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

On this week's RAW, the Judgment Day member confronted and cooked The Scottish Psychopath for blaming other WWE Superstars for his mistakes. This was the beginning of a new feud for the title between the two men.

According to the latest reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre for the world title is expected to take place at Clash at the Castle on June 15, in Glasgow, Scotland. The report also noted that even though The Archer of Infamy is positioned as a babyface next to McIntyre, the crowd will surely roar for the latter star in Scotland.

Drew McIntyre shares an important part of his new WWE deal

It was Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson who announced on social media that The Scottish Warrior has renewed a contract with WWE. The Brahma Bull gifted the 38-year-old star a Scottish Claymore with a personalized message in an envelope.

During an interview with Daily Mail, Drew McIntyre noted that being able to spend time with his family was a crucial part of his new deal.

"Being happy, at this point of my life and career all that matters is I’m happy and I can get time with my family that I’ve not had for 20 years. When it comes to creative, I can only control the controllable. As we’ve seen, almost for the past couple of years, there’s been a lot more leeway given to talent, a lot more collaboration. It’s been awesome, as you can see across the board," he said.

Fans will have to wait for WWE's official announcement in the coming weeks to confirm the reported World Heavyweight Championship match between the Judgment Day member and The Scottish Warrior at Clash at the Castle 2024.
