A huge report has come to light regarding an upcoming WWE show. This report indicates a major change that will take place later this year.

NXT has been WWE's development brand for several years. It originally started off as a reality show and underwent several transitions to become the show it is today. NXT has proven itself to be a breeding ground for the superstars. Several major names have come through the brand, such as Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins.

When NXT first launched as a weekly show, it aired on the WWE Network before eventually making its way to the USA Network. It looks like the brand might find a new home later this year. The CW Network recently announced its premiere primetime dates for the Fall 2024 season. Among the shows mentioned was NXT, which will start airing on the CW Network on October 1, 2024, at 8 PM EST. The show will join an impressive lineup of shows on the CW Network.

WWE NXT star Roxanne Perez recently made history

While NXT is undergoing a major transition to the CW Network, one of its biggest stars is making history. Roxanne Perez is the current NXT Women's Champion. She recently defended her title against TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace at NXT Battleground.

Following this win, she made the cover of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, joining Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, and many more. However, she became the first Latina to achieve this feat.

''#AndNEW: In the latest PWI, @roxanne_wwe reflects on her journey to the top of the @WWENXT Women's division. Could the main roster be far off? Plus, feature stories on @toxic_thekla, @AJFrancis410, @TheOJMO, @amirawrestler, and much more,'' the post read.

It remains to be seen who will be next to face Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship.
