Goldberg facing Gunther seems like a very real possibility after the interaction the two stars had at Bad Blood. Now, there's been a further report surrounding the same.
Goldberg was in the crowd at ringside when Gunther made his way out to the ring to interrupt Triple H who was announcing the new annual competition in Saudi Arabia, which would see the women's and men's world champions compete in matches to determine the new Crown Jewel Champion. While he staked his claim to be the new champion, Gunther also sent a message to the legendary star at ringside, insulting him.
This led to the star getting annoyed, especially when The Ring General took a shot at his being a father, and got in the ring. The confrontation ended thanks to Sami Zayn, but the Hall of Famer made it known he was not done with Gunther, saying, "You're next."
The report stated that the angle between Goldberg and Gunther indicated that a feud between the two stars was "coming soon." It also went on to say that at this point, there was no date known, but Meltzer confirmed that it was not being planned for WrestleMania or Survivor Series.

Given that Gunther will likely be facing Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel unless he loses to Sami Zayn before then, it's not certain when the two stars will face each other.
If Gunther loses to Sami Zayn, then his match against Goldberg could happen
Should Gunther lose his match to Sami Zayn on RAW this week, then he could end up having to face Goldberg at Crown Jewel.
Currently, it does appear that it will be Gunther vs. Cody Rhodes. However, interference from the Hall of Famer, or even Sami Zayn pulling off the unthinkable and becoming the first star to defeat Gunther twice to dethrone him as the champion - Intercontinental and World Heavyweight - would see things certainly change.
Then it would be Zayn facing Rhodes, and Gunther would be free to face the legend at Crown Jewel.
