Charles "Juan Jeremy" Perez, a noted independent wrestler from New York City tragically died soon after wrestling in a match. As per PWInsider, the wrestler passed away while he was touring Japan for the Kaiju Big Battel.

The exact details surrounding his tragic demise are not known at the time. However, the report did note that the star had competed earlier that evening and took ill soon after his match and later died.

The report also said that a GoFundMe Campaign had been launched to assist his family in dealing with the expenses of bringing him back to the United States of America for services.

"Our family is now faced with the heart-wrenching task of bringing Charlie home to America, where he belongs. This is an overwhelming and unexpected financial burden for us. We are humbly asking for your help—whether through donations or prayers—to make this possible. Any amount you can contribute will go directly toward the expenses of bringing him back home and ensuring he is laid to rest with the dignity and love he deserves."

The wrestler was taking part in the Kaiju Big Battel tour.

The wrestler was well-known in his career and worked in advertising and media outside his wrestling career. In wrestling, he competed in East Coast Pro Wrestling, American Combat Wrestling, and the World Wrestling Network, leaving a positive impression on fans and colleagues throughout his time competing.

Before entering the wrestling world, he was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz.
