WWE is reportedly set to make some intriguing changes to the programming following the move to Netflix. Monday Night RAW will debut on the global streaming platform on January 6, 2025.

The Stamford-based company has recently undergone several changes under the Triple H regime. Several WWE Superstars have openly talked about having more creative control under the new regime. In addition to the in-ring action, the wrestling promotion has been working on entertaining the fans with gripping storylines.

Earlier today, Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda Wrestling took to his X/Twitter account to note that WWE will continue to focus on storytelling after moving to Netflix. He mentioned that the talents are focused on working in such a manner that the storylines come off as more authentic and not scripted.

"There are talent backstage in #WWE who are really focused on getting a feel of the crowd and "going with their gut with what's given" by the creative team in order to generate stories that come off as more authentic and not scripted. This is a theme that will go into the Netflix era with storylines," he wrote.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

Responding to one of the X/Twitter users' questions, Featherstone pointed out that the programming in the Netflix era would be more cinematic in nature, especially on the Road to WrestleMania. He added that the storylines would be more cinema-based.

"More of this will be the focus for the Netflix era as there will be more of a cinematic nature, especially heading to WrestleMania. Since Netflix is more cinema-based, that's going to be the feel with storylines."

Triple H opens up about a major change WWE will make in the Netflix era

During his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, WWE's Head of Creative, Triple H, pointed out that the wrestling promotion faces several restrictions on television broadcasts.

Hunter mentioned how, at times, the audio gets cut out, and the screen turns black. The Game claimed that it would not happen on Netflix.

"Netflix is a completely different animal. It's a streaming service. How are commercials going to work? How are breaks going to work? What's the length of time? What are the restrictions or not restrictions? Being on Fox, if the crowd chants 'holy sh*t' or something worse, they take the audio. Sometimes, they take the picture and the audio out, and it's a black screen. The Rock comes in, and you can't tell what The Rock to do. He does what he does. We won't have those issues with Netflix. The ability to be live globally and be seen live everywhere is a game-changing moment," he said.
