The Jade Cargill situation in WWE continues to confuse fans and pundits alike, with the latest update from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter adding more fuel to the fire. WWE wrote Jade Cargill off TV on a recent SmackDown episode by having her get attacked by an assailant whose identity is yet to be disclosed.

Multiple theories and reports have since surfaced online about the reasoning behind Cargill's absence, with some claiming she is actually injured.

Dave Meltzer issued a detailed report in this week's edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, covering all the details he's received from his sources.

Meltzer revealed that they had gotten "three different versions" of the story regarding Jade Cargill's status, one that states she is set to be out for nearly three months.

"We were told that Cargill is expected out of action for three months, or possibly longer. We’ve gotten three different versions of the story from those in WWE. One was that, as is usually the case with WWE parking lot attacks, that it’s a storyline cover for a real injury. However, this one has been kept secretive."

One source claimed that Cargill might have been pulled from WWE TV due to a political problem behind the scenes, though more information wasn't provided.

Dave Meltzer clarified that the rumor could only be verified as accurate if the Triple H-led creative team ends up splitting the tag team of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.

"Another version is that the injury was created to cover for a political backstage issue. For this story to be accurate, the Cargill & Belair tag team would have to be broken up to give credence to that one. If the team is put back together, that would refute that story, but if it isn’t, that would lend credence to that aspect of it."

Even Jade Cargill's close friends might be unaware of her WWE situation

As you might have imagined, Jade Cargill's current WWE standing is shrouded in uncertainty and sheer perplexity.

Multiple stories are doing the rounds on the internet that are supposedly coming from people within the company. Meltzer mentioned that the secrecy around Cargill is at a level where even her close associates are in the dark about the actual nature of her reported injury.

One higher-up claimed that she was "100 percent" injured and any other ongoing narrative about the former AEW star is false.

WWE has already found Cargill's replacement for Survivor Series: WarGames and for now, the focus is on finding out the superstar responsible for the storyline attack.
