Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline stablemates are gearing up to take on Roman Reigns and The Usos at WWE Crown Jewel 2024. A recent report ahead of the show has shed light on why Sikoa has only sporadically wrestled in recent weeks.
Sikoa has emerged as an effective leader of the new Bloodline, with Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and Jacob Fatu dedicatedly following his commands. While the 31-year-old regularly wrestled on TV when he was an enforcer to Roman Reigns, now that he's a leader himself, he competes selectively in high-stakes matches.
The Bloodline leader's match came on the October 11 edition of SmackDown, where he defeated his former stablemate Jimmy Uso. As per Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Solo Sikoa's relaxed in-ring schedule was due to WWE wanting him to be free of any injuries before Crown Jewel 2024.

Sikoa appeared in a backstage segment on this week's SmackDown, where he evoked his past with Roman Reigns ahead of the six-man tag team match.
Jey Uso on Solo Sikoa betraying his family in WWE
In an interview with Michael Cole during the Crown Jewel 2024 Kick-Off show, Jey Uso spoke about Sikoa taking over The Bloodline via nefarious means. The Yeet Master explained how his real-life brother was "brainwashed" and was just waiting for the right opportunity to sidestep everyone and gain control of the faction.
"I think Solo Sikoa [is] brainwashed somewhere along this journey, [Michael] Cole. Solo has been, he's just been quiet, watching and waiting for his perfect time to take over the family. That's what he did. That's what he's done, Cole. And I feel like tomorrow night, it needed the OG Bloodline to come back together. So, we can finally end this story, man."
It was also reported that contrary to expectations, the highly-anticipated six-man tag team match would not headline Crown Jewel 2024 but open the show.
