Money in the Bank is an event that WWE can easily sell with the annual titular matches alone. If you throw in the fact that there is a rich history when it comes to the briefcases and the lasting impact it has on the careers of the superstars who hold them, WWE has a winner in every sense of the word.

With that being said, this year's event has also garnered excitement for other matches on the card. One of them is the Intercontinental Championship showdown between Sami Zayn and rising star Bron Breakker.

Breakker, 26, is the kind of rare athlete WWE decides to tie a rocket to and shoot to the moon. As per BetOnline, it appears following this week's confrontation between the former NXT Champion and Zayn on RAW, the newest member of the red brand is leading the latest betting odds.

Sami Zayn won the prestigious belt at WrestleMania XL when he ended Gunther's undefeated streak and reign of 666 days. Zayn subsequently put away Chad Gable multiple times, but Bron Breakker is another breed altogether. It would not be a total surprise if WWE books the young stalwart to win his first main roster title this Saturday night.

WWE does not want Bron Breakker to use his iconic family name

When it comes to wrestling families, the Steiners are up there as one of the most well-known. Bron Breakker is the nephew of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner.

During a recent appearance on Monopoly Events, Scott Steiner revealed that Bron Breakker personally wants to use the family name, but the company will not budge. Ultimately, Steiner feels that it is not something worth fighting about:

"I give him sh*t all the time that he's stealing all our sh*t, he does my Frankensteiner, does our suplexes, but he has his own specific way of doing everything so it's definitely different," Steiner said. "I take it as a compliment from him, I talk to him almost every week we are still a tight-knit family. I think it's great, and I think he wants to be a Steiner but there's certain things there's no reason trying to change. So if that's how they want to push him, so be it. It's not a fight worth fighting."

After wrestling fellow NXT alumni Ilja Dragunov and Ricochet—whom he sent packing—since moving to the main roster, the upcoming title match marks Bron's first major clash. How he fairs in the bout is crucial as all eyes will be on the Money in the Bank event.
