WWE is just a few weeks away from its inaugural Bash in Berlin PLE. While only two championship matches have been announced as of now, word is that there will be at least one surprise title change, and the rumor mill is picking up on what may be in store.
Sami Zayn and Jey Uso were previously linked up in The Bloodline, but Uso came to RAW in late 2023, and the two have been aligned since then, teaming up at non-televised live events for six wins over JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio, and two losses to Finn Balor and Damian Priest. The RAW Superstars teamed up again on the July 22 RAW for a non-title win over McDonagh and Balor, who won the World Tag Team Championship from Awesome Truth one month before.
Main Event Jey and The Great Liberator are expected to challenge The Irish Ace and The Irish Captor at WWE Bash in Berlin. Pro Wrestling Finesse on X has indicated that the plan is for Uso and Zayn to leave Germany with the World Tag Team Championship.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
WWE has not announced the tag team match as of this writing. However, Zayn and Uso have openly discussed how they are due a title shot for the recent victory over McDonagh and Balor.
Uso did not work SummerSlam, but Zayn was dethroned as the Intercontinental Champion by Bron Breakker that night. The post-SummerSlam RAW saw the duo hype each other up for potential title shots in a backstage segment, and this week's RAW featured another backstage segment with Uso giving Zayn a pep talk before his 2 out of 3 Falls main event loss to Breakker.
