It has been more than a year since Dexter Lumis wrestled a match on WWE RAW. The former NXT star appeared in a Battle Royal that was won by Mustafa Ali back in May 2023.
Lumis' last singles match on the red brand came in February 2023, when he defeated Baron Corbin. It seems that the landscape of WWE has changed somewhat over the past year and according to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select's Backstage Report, Lumis isn't sidelined with an injury.
“Lumis has been off TV for a year and we were told Lumis is not injured when asked about it,” stated the report.
It's unclear if he was injured last year and has since healed or if he has been waiting in the wings for 13 months just to be handed some creative directions. What is known is that Lumis is rumored to return very soon to be part of Bo Dallas' new stable. The rumored stable is expected to be headed by Uncle Howdy.

Dexter Lumis is now unrecognizable to WWE fans
Dexter Lumis was working with Johnny Gargano before he was taken off television. It seems that he has been working hard in the gym, ahead of his eventual return, with him posting some recent pictures where he looked almost unrecognizable to fans.
With recent releases and the sale of WWE, the company likely has major plans for Lumis, so he has been waiting on the sidelines for some time, the same as Erick Rowan, who is also expected to make his return soon.
Another potential member of the rumored faction who hasn't been on TV for a while is Nikki Cross, who could be taking on a similar role to Alexa Bliss when she was working with The Fiend. All could be revealed later tonight since Uncle Howdy is expected to finally unveil himself on RAW.
