Gunther and Cody Rhodes will defend their titles at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event
Last month, Cody Rhodes and Gunther had an epic clash in Saudi Arabia to become the inaugural WWE Crown Jewel Champion. In the end, The American Nightmare pulled off a classic Bret Hart reversal and defeated The Ring General.
This shook the World Heavyweight Champion's confidence heading into his title defense against Damian Priest at Survivor Series: WarGames in Canada. Nevertheless, Finn Balor appeared and cost Priest the match.
Elsewhere, Cody Rhodes has been feuding with Kevin Owens, who turned on him after WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta for teaming up with Roman Reigns and helping the OG Bloodline against Solo Sikoa's faction.
Next week, The American Nightmare will defend his title against The Prizefighter in Long Island at Saturday Night's Main Event. Moreover, The Ring General will defend his title against The Judgment Day's Finn Balor.
