A new report has provided some insight on when Paul Heyman could be returning to WWE television. The Hall of Famer has not been seen since he was brutally attacked by The Bloodline on the June 28, 2024, edition of WWE SmackDown.

A new report from WRKD Wrestling claims that Heyman could potentially be returning to WWE television "soon." WRKD Wrestling also shared a photo with Reigns, Heyman, and Jimmy Uso on social media.

Jimmy Uso made his return to the company during the tag team match at Bad Blood to help Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline. Solo Sikoa kicked Jimmy out of the faction after he lost to Jey Uso earlier this year at WrestleMania XL.

The Wiseman refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as the new Tribal Chief earlier this year and was kicked out of The Bloodline as a result. Roman Reigns teased earlier today that he would be acknowledging someone tonight on SmackDown, and Heyman reposted the message.

Former WWE writer criticizes Paul Heyman

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently criticized Paul Heyman and claimed that the veteran was over the top.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show earlier this year, Russo claimed Heyman was over the top as an on-screen character. The veteran commented on Heyman not sleeping to alter his appearance and claimed that he never looked that hideous after missing a day of rest.

"To me, Paul Heyman is just so over the top. I gotta tell you. A lot of people give him credit for he wanted to be a character actor so I guess he didn't sleep or something and he didn't shave and his eyes were all red. I gotta tell you something honestly, I've gone 24 hours without sleeping. I've not looked as hideous as that." [From 10:45 onwards]

Solo Sikoa has made many changes as the leader of the new version of The Bloodline. It will be interesting to see if Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns reunite in the weeks ahead on WWE SmackDown.
