The WWE Universe continues to buzz about the eventual return of Alexa Bliss. The 33-year-old star has not wrestled in one year and ten months but is expected to be back in the ring shortly. Bliss is rumored to be linked to two major storylines, but the latest update offers a potential look at what may be in store for her.
Little Miss Bliss has not wrestled since failing to dethrone then-RAW Women's Champion Bianca Belair at Royal Rumble 2023. Alexa had planned for some time off, and dealt with health issues, but announced in May 2023 that she was expecting a baby. In November, she and her husband, Ryan Cabrera, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Hendrix.
Bliss was rumored to return to in-ring action before the start of 2025 at one point. While she has been open about her desire to return, she has also told fans on X/Twitter that the final decision was not up to her. It was recently revealed how sources expected Little Miss Bliss to be back in the ring after the holiday season.
Alexa continues to be a regular topic of discussion within the company's creative circles, according to a report from PWInsider. Word now is that the creative writing teams are currently working on exactly when to have Bliss return, and working on exactly how to bring her back, and into which storyline she will be featured.

Bliss has been rumored to be linked to The Wyatt Sicks, and more recently, The Final Testament, but word is that creative plans for her are still in the works. She had been on the RAW roster but is currently listed without a specific brand due to her inactive status. The brand on which Alexa will make her eventual return is one of the items that are still being decided on before she can be brought back.
WWE officials were hopeful that Bliss could be back in time right after the holiday season, and also for WrestleMania 41 in late April, if not much sooner. Sources believe she will be back in time for WrestleMania season, which kicks off with the 2025 Royal Rumble.
WWE star says he would welcome Alexa Bliss
The current WWE era is faction-heavy, and it is no secret that Triple H is a big fan of stables in wrestling. The Final Testament is becoming one of the top heel groups of the company, featuring Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar, and Paul Ellering.
As the group feuds with The Wyatt Sicks and as Alexa Bliss gets closer to returning, fans have speculated on a potential link to The Final Testament. A fan on X/Twitter recently asked about Little Miss Bliss joining the group, and Kross responded to the same:
"I would happily welcome her. Nothing but respect."
If the rumored links to The Wyatt Sicks or The Final Testament are true, Bliss would potentially feud with Scarlett or Nikki Cross. Alexa has never wrestled against Scarlett but has teamed up with, and wrestled against, Cross dozens of times since 2016 in NXT.
