There has been a major update about WWE's future plans for The Rock following his surprising return earlier this month. The Final Boss appeared in the closing moments of Bad Blood after Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeated The Bloodline in the main event Tag Team Match.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, The Rock is expected to appear on WWE television in a "sporadic fashion". The report noted that sources at the Intuit Dome are hopeful that the 52-year-old will be available for RAW's debut on Netflix in January 2025.

Sources within WWE also told Fightful that they had no idea where the rumors that The Great One would not be appearing at WrestleMania 41 came from. However, the report did not confirm if the legend would be appearing at The Show of Shows next year.

A producer within the company also stated that if The Rock decided he wanted to appear on a show on short notice, it would happen. The veteran's appearance at Bad Blood earlier this month did not have a lot of planning behind it, and it was confirmed he would be on the show only a few days before the premium live event.

Hulk Hogan compares WWE RAW star to The Rock

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan recently compared Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker to The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Breakker captured the Intercontinental Championship for the second time in the main event of last week's episode of WWE RAW. The 27-year-old defeated Jey Uso after The Bloodline got involved in the match.

Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter in an exclusive interview, The Hulkster suggested that Breakker had the potential to be a major star, and compared him to legends such as himself, Stone Cold, and The Brahma Bull.

"He's something else. He's wise beyond his years. Number one, to be that intense and to know the red light's on and to be able to stay in that zone. It's very impressive, so if they do the right thing with him that could be your next Stone Cold, The Rock, or Hulk Hogan. He could be the guy," he said. [1:37 – 2:01]

Jey Uso reunited with Jimmy Uso and helped cost The Bloodline the WWE Tag Team Championship this past Friday night on SmackDown. The People's Champion acknowledged Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief earlier this year but has not commented on the changes to The Bloodline yet.

It will be fascinating to see what the company has in store for The Bloodline saga in the weeks ahead.
