WWE is gearing up for the return of WarGames. Superstars are set to do battle inside the dreadful structure later this month, for just the third time on the main roster. Ahead of Crown Jewel, the rumor mill is running rampant on future plans for a certain top star who may be missing the prestigious match.
World Wrestling Entertainment is kicking off the penultimate month of the year with the sixth Crown Jewel PLE. The next premium live event on the schedule is the 38th annual Survivor Series, scheduled for Saturday, November 30 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The extravaganza will be headlined by the double-caged WarGames Match. One each for the male and female superstars.
The Match Beyond was created by Dusty Rhodes, and last November's event saw his son finally debut inside the brutal structure. Cody led four other superstars to a 35-minute win over The Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre. However, wrestling fans are speculating in a major way today after the current Undisputed WWE Champion indicated that he may not be returning to WarGames this year.

The American Nightmare took to X (fka Twitter) earlier today to share his November schedule with fans. The biggest takeaway seems to be the fact that there is no Survivor Series: WarGames date listed on Cody's graphic. This has led to speculation on what sort of devastation Kevin Owens might cause in the current feud with Rhodes.
Fans are also assuming that Cody will not be on the SmackDown go-home show for Survivor Series: WarGames, which will air the night before the PLE. There is no November 29 date on Rhodes' schedule, but technically he could still appear on the blue brand as it will be taped the week before, along with the November 22 edition in Salt Lake City, which Cody is booked for.
WWE chose not to run Friday, November 29 due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States being on November 28.
Cody Rhodes set for WWE SmackDown
Tonight's loaded SmackDown episode will feature the final build for the Crown Jewel PLE scheduled for November 2 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The episode was taped last week at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Cody Rhodes is set to team with longtime associate Randy Orton on SmackDown tonight. They will face Imperium, represented by Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser.
The Undisputed WWE Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion will then do battle at the premium live event tomorrow, to crown the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion. Their brand-specific titles will not be up for grabs. Orton is scheduled to wrestle Kevin Owens at the PLE.
