Major WWE match planned for Logan Paul at SummerSlam - Reports

United States Champion Logan Paul is reportedly expected to face a major WWE Superstar at SummerSlam. This year's WWE SummerSlam will take place on August 3 and will be hosted in Paul's hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.

The Maverick has not been in action since his loss to Cody Rhodes at King and Queen of the Ring last month in Saudi Arabia. The American Nightmare got the better of Paul in the main event of the show and retained his Undisputed WWE Championship. LA Knight is going after the popular star's US Title and recently invaded his house to enjoy a dip in his pool.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, LA Knight and Logan Paul are "earmarked" for SummerSlam this year. Money in the Bank is the next premium live event on the schedule and will take place on July 6 in Toronto, Canada.

Former WWE manager believes there will be another match between Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul

Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell predicted that Cody Rhodes would defeat Logan Paul at King and Queen of the Ring, but also thought fans would be dying to see it again following the premium live event.

The United States Championship was also supposed to be on the line at King and Queen of the Ring, but Logan Paul had a new contract drawn up to exclude his title ahead of the show.

Speaking on a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell predicted Paul and Rhodes would have a great match and fans would want to see it again.

"I think since Cody has just become champion, I think he needs a straight up win here because they got weeks and weeks and weeks. Just keep Logan Paul warm and he can jump back in there. If they have a good match here people will be dying to see another one. So I would say they're gonna have a great match. I know they're gonna have a great match. They've had like a month to work on that. And I think Cody goes over." [23:41 onwards]

Logan Paul captured the United States Championship at WWE Crown Jewel 2023. Santos Escobar left brass knuckles on the ring apron, and Paul used them to dethrone Rey Mysterio. It will be fascinating to see if LA Knight can capture his first singles title by defeating Logan Paul at WWE SummerSlam.
