WWE officials are reportedly in jeopardy of losing another key superstar. New backstage details are being revealed on an ongoing contract situation, which could end with two major names leaving for a rival promotion.

Natalya is the longest-tenured female WWE Superstar. She signed a developmental contract with the company in 2007 and went on to have a successful career. Her husband, Tyson Kidd, also signed a developmental contract in 2006, unfortunately, his in-ring career came to an end in 2015 after suffering from a neck injury. The former Tag Team Champion currently works as a producer.

It was recently reported that the Queen of Harts will see her WWE contract expire in the next several weeks unless the two sides agree on a new deal in their recent negotiations. Sean Ross Sapp in his Backstage Report on Fightful Select noted that The BOAT has been approached by company officials hoping to extend the deal, and many expect a new contract to be finalized as the money being offered is said to be pretty good.

However, it was noted that there has been no talk of Natalya putting ink to paper as of this week as she is still weighing her options because she has several outside projects, including a movie on The Hart Family, which was first revealed earlier this year.

Natalya's WWE contract will reportedly expire in a matter of weeks and it was speculated that if she becomes a free agent, it's likely she will receive some sort of offer to work AEW's 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, which is set to end on July 10 on Wednesday's Dynamite in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Sean Ross Sapp also talked about Tyson Kidd potentially leaving the company. It was speculated that the current WWE producer would likely leave to join whichever promotion his wife signs with if she does leave.

It was noted that The Stampede Kid is with WWE under a standard employment agreement, not a contract.

AEW announces next tournament to honor WWE legend Owen Hart

All Elite Wrestling has announced its third annual Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, and this time there are added stakes. Also known as The Owen Hart Cup, this year the men's and women's tournaments will coincide with the 25th anniversary of The Owen Hart Foundation.

Tony Khan announced the tournaments during Double or Nothing on Sunday, and he was joined by Owen's widow, Martha Hart. The men's and women's tournament winners will receive title shots at the All In pay-per-view in August.

AEW did not announce the start date, but the finals of the men's and women's tournaments will be held on July 10 when Dynamite airs from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
