Multi-time WWE champion has told the company he is leaving after contract expires; lost title & being written off - Reports

A recent report has suggested that a multi-time champion has decided to leave WWE this summer. The star is set to be written out of stories after having lost his title recently.

Ricochet's time in WWE appears to be coming to a close very soon. The star was recently crowned the inaugural Speed Champion after winning the tournament. He even defended it against the first challenger as well. Triple H posted about Ricochet's win, celebrating his success. Unfortunately, he lost it in the tapings after SmackDown yesterday, with Andrade becoming the new champion.

According to a report by PWInsider, Ricochet is set to leave the company this summer and has given notice to the company. He informed them of his intention to leave after his contract expires. The report further stated that he would be written out of storylines very soon before his deal could expire.

The star is currently on RAW and has held multiple titles over his career, including the Intercontinental Title, the US Title, the NXT North American Title, and most recently the Speed Championship. He has been with the company over the last six years after incredible runs elsewhere.

The report went on to say that a source had said that WWE was giving Ricochet "all the credit in the world" for betting on himself.
