A popular WWE Superstar is set to return from injury soon. This week's episode of RAW will air live from California and will be the second episode of the red brand on Netflix.

According to a new report from PWInsider, Tyler Bate is expected to return to action soon. The veteran suffered a torn pectoral muscle while wrestling in a tag team match alongside Pete Dunne against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. The injury took place on the July 2, 2024, episode of NXT. Bate and Dunne were in a tag team known as New Catch Republic before the injury.

Tyler Bate was the inaugural United Kingdom Champion in the company. He was also in a tag team with Trent Seven, known as Muscle Mountain, and the duo captured the NXT Tag Team Championship together. Trent Seven was released from WWE in 2022 and spent some time in TNA before exiting the company in December 2024.

Major WWE star praises Tyler Bate and offers him a title match

Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker recently broke character to praise Tyler Bate and offered the injured star a title match.

Breakker is currently on his second reign as Intercontinental Champion. He briefly lost the title to Jey Uso last year but won it back a few weeks later. Speaking at a Fanatics Live Auction, the WWE RAW star brought up Bate's name and noted that they had a good match together back in the day.

Breakker stated that Bate was banged up at the moment and offered to defend the Intercontinental Championship against him when he returned.

"I feel like Tyler Bate and I [had a good match]. That was super early on too. I was still super brand new. He’s a little banged up right now, so I wish he comes back soon. And you know what, whenever you get back my man, you want to challenge me for the Intercontinental Championship, then I’ll lay it down for you. Because we had a good one," Bron Breakker said.

Bate is a talented in-ring performer but has not won a title on the main roster yet. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the 27-year-old when he returns to the ring.
