WWE fans are hyped about the upcoming Money in the Bank 2024 Premium Live Event in Toronto, Canada. However, a 37-year-old star has decided to part ways with the Stamford-based company and now the latest report has provided the major reason behind it.
The name in question is Dijak who announced that his last day with World Wrestling Entertainment is on June 28th. Before he went back to NXT two years ago, the star was on Monday Night RAW as a member of the Retribution faction under the name T-Bar. However, the Mustafa Ali-led faction was a flop on the main roster.
Meanwhile, on the white-and-gold brand, Dijak got a major opportunity when he faced Josh Briggs and Oba Femi for the North American Title at Stand & Deliver 2024. However, the 37-year-old failed to capture the championship. Taking to social media, the former Retribution member mentioned his WWE contract is expiring and the company has not offered him a new deal.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE possibly didn't negotiate a new deal for Dijak because even though he had a Monday Night RAW contract, he wasn't being utilized on the main roster.

WWE legend opens up about Dijak's departure
The ECW legend Tommy Dreamer shared his two cents on what the future holds for the 37-year-old star after his exit from the Stamford-based promotion.
During an appearance on the Busted Open Radio, the 53-year-old legend mentioned that Dijak is very talented but WWE failed to book him on the NXT brand. Tommy Dreamer also spoke about the former Retribution member potentially signing AEW or TNA Wrestling very soon.
"He has a path, he has this great look. ... I think he'll do really, really good out there on the indies and he'll land — if not with a TNA, then he'll land with an AEW," he said.
It will be exciting to see if Dijak signs a deal with the rival promotion, AEW, or joins forces again with Mustafa Ali in TNA Wrestling.
