Potential spoiler on major RAW star to be traded to WWE SmackDown tonight

We might be about to see a major shake-up on SmackDown tonight with a fan-favorite RAW star about to make his return to the blue brand. The reported trade is an exchange as the red brand received Jey Uso a while back.

Main Event Jey quit SmackDown after being betrayed by his twin at SummerSlam. The former tag team champion made his switch to RAW after Cody Rhodes used his influence to make it official. The company said at the time that there would be a trade to SmackDown to compensate for Jey’s brand switch and the company might finally be ready to pull the trigger.

According to reports by PW Insider, Former Universal Champion Kevin Owens will be making the switch on tonight’s show. Owens previously had a series of incredible matches with Reigns before his move to RAW.

This switch could have major implications for multiple titles. Owens along with partner Sami Zayn failed to reclaim the tag titles on Monday night and the switch might possibly mean that their chase for the tag titles might be over.

With Roman back on TV today, it’ll be interesting to see if the Canadian gets involved with The Bloodline again after they prevented him from winning the title so many times. With his mistrust of Jey Uso on RAW, it’s clear that Owens has not forgotten about any of those matches.
