Bray Wyatt's future has been the topic of discussion amongst the WWE Universe for quite some time as The Eater of Worlds has not been seen on weekly television. According to a new report, there is a potential update regarding his future and his unassigned status with the company.
Bray Wyatt made a shocking return to the company last year after not appearing in any other wrestling promotion following his release from the company after WrestleMania 37. The Eater of Worlds closed the show and fans were excited to see the former Universal Champion back in action.
Unfortunately, Wyatt's return has not lived up to the WWE Universe's expectations. According to a new report from WrestleVotes, the former World Champion is still signed with the company and he is under the "unassigned" category along with other notable names such as Ciampa, R-truth, and Logan Paul. Check it out:
"Regarding the “roster rankings” & Bray Wyatt’s name not listed, I was passed the internal groupings. Names that appeared alongside him in this “unassigned” category that are still listed include Ciampa, Truth, Gable Steveson & Logan Paul. Bray Wyatt is still on payroll however."
It will be interesting to see as to what Wyatt does next upon returning from his hiatus.
Bray Wyatt was scheduled to face former WWE Champion at WrestleMania 39
After his return to the company, Wyatt feuded with LA Knight on Friday Night SmackDown. The two went after each other for months before they finally met inside the squared circle at WWE Royal Rumble 2023.
They were booked for a Mountain Dew Pitch Black match which disappointed fans across the globe due to the poor execution and quality, which hurt both their credibility amongst the WWE Universe.
After the event, the two went their separate ways on the blue brand. On the night before Elimination Chamber, The Eater of Worlds issued a challenge to the winner of Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley at the premium live event in Canada.
Unfortunately, there was no decisive winner, and Wyatt went on to feud with Bobby Lashley before their eventual match was scrapped from WrestleMania 39. It will be interesting to see whether The Eater of Worlds will return to weekly television.
