Fans may remember Mick Foley spoke up about a former WWE star who stepped away from wrestling to deal with brain cancer. Now, another report has emerged about the star's condition.

Back in 2022, Mick Foley sent a message to Joe Doering, talking about his battle with brain cancer. The ex-WWE star, who also earned fame in TNA and AJPW, has had an unfortunate history with cancer. He previously went through surgery for a brain tumor in 2016. Unfortunately, the ailment resurfaced.

Foley had found out about the star's condition and sent him prayers and positive vibes. He also shared how fans could help the star, telling them that the sale of Doering's shirt would be going directly to help him.

Now, a report from PWInsider states that Doering is still fighting against the disease but has also suffered from the side effects of the treatment he is undergoing. The report adds that he will not be returning to TNA anytime soon and that he might never return at all.

This was not the first time that Mick has helped Doering either, as he aided the star in 2016 when he had to go through with surgery to remove his tumor.
