There have been a few rumors since WWE SmackDown that there will be a second new women's championship introduced on RAW. A report about the same has emerged.
On SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis introduced the WWE Women's United States Championship - the first women's midcard title on the main roster. The title was announced on SmackDown, and as of now, there are no details as to how the first titleholder will be crowned, but a tournament is expected by the fans. With that being said, there were rumors that with a women's United States title, there would soon be a women's Intercontinental title introduced on RAW as well.
Now, Fightful Select has reported on what's known about a second women's title minutes before RAW. The report stated that as of an hour before the show, the women on the roster have not been told about a new title as of yet.
This seems to imply that there probably won't be a second women's title introduced today, if at all. However, reportedly, the women were in the dark about the US title as well until some time before it was announced, thus making a second title not impossible.
As of now, though, there does not seem to be any indication of a second WWE midcard women's title. It remains to be seen if Triple H decides on one any time soon.
