Roman Reigns' return at WWE SummerSlam in Ohio received one of the biggest pops in the promotion's history. The Original Tribal Chief targeted Solo Sikoa upon returning, however, didn't interact with his Enforcer Jacob Fatu.
Earlier this year, Jacob Fatu made a monstrous debut for WWE when he took out Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton on SmackDown. The Samoan Werewolf has been instrumental in Solo Sikoa's rise to the top and added much-needed credibility to The Bloodline as the new Enforcer.
However, Fatu was missing when Roman Reigns attacked Solo Sikoa in Ohio. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio (WOR), WWE is trying to avoid a clash between Reigns and Fatu in the ongoing storyline.
The insider stated that The Samoan Werewolf wouldn't be around The Original Tribal Chief before the two eventually lock horns inside the square circle. However, that match would take place only after the company books a bout between Reigns and Sikoa.
Roman Reigns returned to WWE SmackDown and decimated Solo Sikoa's Bloodline
Earlier this year, Solo Sikoa devised a vicious plan to take over The Bloodline in Roman Reigns' absence from the Stamford-based company. The Tribal Heir mercilessly attacked Jimmy Uso and replaced him with Haku's son, Tama Tonga.
Later, Tama's brother, Tonga Loa, and Sikoa's cousin, Jacob Fatu joined the fray and changed the face of The Bloodline. The group viciously attacked Paul Heyman after he refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief over Roman Reigns.
Solo Sikoa received the biggest opportunity of his career when he got a shot at Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship at The Biggest Party of the Summer. However, Roman Reigns returned to the company and spoiled Sikoa's plans at the premium live event.
On the SmackDown after SummerSlam 2024, The Original Tribal Chief single-handedly decimated Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa before Solo Sikoa escaped with coveted Ula Fala. Interestingly, Jacob Fatu was missing from the show.
