#3. Brock Lesnar's WWE return
Brock Lesnar has not been seen on WWE TV since WrestleMania 36 where he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre. The Beast Incarnate, however, could be nearing his WWE return date.
Dave Meltzer revealed on the Wrestling Observer Radio that the WWE might get Brock Lesnar back at SummerSlam even if there is no crowd at the PPV.
The story of WWE planning to get Brock Lesnar back for SummerSlam was first reported by Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue a week ago. Tom stated that WWE hopes to have the fans back for SummerSlam, and they will go all guns blazing by most likely booking Lesnar in a big match at this show.
The only difference is that WWE may not even wait for the crowds to return and still go ahead with the scheduled comeback of Brock Lesnar.
Tom stated:
"In news for the summer around August time, the WWE, with now everything changing as per state by state, as per the COVID-19 pandemic, the WWE is feeling optimistic that August might be in time to have the crowds back and have a show at an arena. Brock Lesnar has been penciled in for an appearance if they are able to open in time for SummerSlam. We may be seeing The Beast Incarnate back sooner than we think."
