#2 Bruce Prichard gives details about Triple H's gruesome injury in WWE
Speaking on his podcast, WWE Executive Director Bruce Prichard gave interesting details about when Triple H tore his quadriceps during a match against Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho, while teaming with Steve Austin on RAW. Despite getting seriously injured, he managed to finish the match and even walked back on his own.
Prichard was in the gorilla position during the match and stated that he was very impressed with Triple H for completing the match even though he had suffered a career-threatening injury.
"A testament to pulling through and finishing the match. I don't know that many people, a: would have been able to do that. That was one of those holy s*** moments. Once you realize, even more so after the fact, he couldn't put any weight on his leg at all and still went in, finished the match, did his spots, limping badly and not really being able to do much of anything at all," said Bruce Prichard.
Prichard claimed that WWE had made major plans revolving around Triple H at that point and his untimely injury resulted in the company scrambling to change those plans.
